Chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO) is an idiopathic inflammatory disorder of bone seen primarily in children and adolescents. Synonyms are subacute symmetric osteomyelitis, chronic symmetric osteomyelitis, chronic multifocal symmetric osteomyelitis, chronic multifocal cleidometaphyseal osteomyelitis, and tumorous osteomyelitis [1].
